Wedding Band Review 1:
We are so pleased to have had Raindance perform at our wedding in Galway! Myself and my Irish husband live in California and thought it would be difficult to organize a band for our wedding. Raindance were very responsive and provided us with everything we needed to make the right decision! From customer testimonials to actual videos and recordings, it was easy for us to know that Raindance would be great entertainment for our party. Ollie was flexible, and made it easy for us to choose our songs. He took all the important wedding details via email, as the time difference didn’t allow for phone conversations. He also communicated and coordinated with the venue which made it much easier for us, since we already had so much on our plate.
The night of our wedding Raindance was absolutely amazing! We had people travelling from all over the world, and so many people told us how great our band was. Raindance played all the songs we requested and more. The live band and DJ option was a great mix for the party and we had a blast! We’re so glad we went with Raindance and would HIGHLY recommend them to any couple getting married…especially if you’re planning your wedding from abroad!

Wedding Band Review 2:
My beautiful wife Emily and I live in London, and we always dreamed of having our wedding in my family’s home town in Co. Kerry – but with that dream, came the reality of booking a wedding abroad. With so much to do, and the Irish Sea between us, we worried that we might not be able to find a Band and Dj to fit our style, whilst making the booking process as easy as possible. Thankfully we found Raindance!
Internet searching done, we called Ollie – who was gentle and humorous, and more than reassuring on the phone. He encouraged us to view the band if we had the time on one of our trips to Ireland (he offered to tell us where they were playing, and would ask the newly-weds if they minded a flyby!) and if we couldn’t manage that, there was no problem at all, they’d happily book us in so long as we were happy with our choice. There was a minimal booking fee which Ollie accepted in the post with good grace.
Nearer the time of our wedding, we were sent an information email asking us for significant songs including our first dance. The band went the extra mile and learned our request: Queen’s “You’re My Best Friend” and also included an intro to the night (“I’ve gotta feeling”) which had the whole bridal party swinging from the get go. In fact from the minute they started, the dance-floor was full and remained that way while they belted out song after song, and just as the clock struck midnight, the band seamlessly turned into the DJ! No rest for the crowd which meant we were rocking well into the early hours.
Both at the wedding, and since then, we’ve had guests tell us how brilliant the band were and we’d absolutely agree. Massive thank to Ollie and the guys for making it so easy, and for making our wedding night the best party of our lives!
